The principal focus of Dr Scheiner’s work is to help people achieve the quality of life that they want for themselves. Once she starts working and individual she is totally committed to helping them find the motivation and courage to move towards their goals. Dr Scheiner works holistically and believes in a biopsychosocial approach which integrates all aspects of our lives.
Dr Scheiner works with adults (18+) and is trained in a number of different models, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive analytic therapy (CAT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) and sensorimotor psychotherapy. Her particular interests are depression, lack of self-belief, recovery from traumatic events and the treatment of functional somatic and/or neurological conditions.
